Thank you for your donation to the Center for Canine Behavior Studies

In the coming days you will receive a thank you letter acknowledging your donation. This letter also suffices as your tax-deductible receipt for a donation made to a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, the letters are sent via email, however we can easily accommodate mailing the letter.

VIP Donors: Please allow 24 hours for your pet to appear on the Honor Roll or Hall of Fame.

Memorial/Honorary Donations: If you're gift was made in honor of someone and you would like CCBS to send a personalized letter to the honoree or the family of the decedent, and you did not include it in the "reference" section while making a donation through Paypal, email the recipient contact information to Allie Tellier at

The goal of the research performed at the Center for Canine Behavior Studies is to reduce the number of dogs surrendered into shelters. The CCBS team, led by world-renowned Veterinary Behaviorist Dr. Nicholas Dodman, discovers what behaviors lead to shelter relinquishment, identifies ways to educate owners, and supports the human-animal bond so that dogs and those who love them can live harmoniously.

CCBS is a non-profit, tax exempt public 501(c)(3) corporation (tax ID number 83-0908914) and contributions are tax deductible.

For questions regarding any donations, please
